What do I need?
- 63.71MB hard drive space
- GHz processor (minimum) ~ Recommended: 2.5 GHz processor (for PowerPoint and camera recordings.)
- 500 MB RAM minimum ~ Recommended: 1.0 GB
- Camtasia Studio Add-in for PowerPoint requires PowerPoint 2000, 2002, 2003, or 2007
- Microphone (for narration)
- Windows XP or Vista
- Windows-compatible sound card
- Speakers for audio playback (to preview narration)
- Webcam (for Picture In Picture)
- Scanner (to include hard copy images – i.e. handouts)
- Video Camera (to include live footage in your tutorial)
- Production to iPod format requires Apple QuickTime 7.1 or later version
- Camtasia Studio Add-in for PowerPoint requires PowerPoint 2000, 2002, 2003, or 2007
- DVD Burner if you want to put tutorial on DVD
- Speakers if audio is involved
- Depending on file type (.WMV, .AVI, .SWF), need appropriate media player
- Projector (for playing video in classroom)
