How can it enhance my teaching?

College faculty and staff can use Camtasia in many ways, including:

  • Recording and posting lectures online so that students can revisit content that was unclear.  This can also be used for students with disabilities that have difficulty physically attending classes.

  • Supplementing or even replacing textbooks with audiovisual lessons created in Camtasia.

  • Instructors and students can include multimedia projects in an electronic portfolio.
  • Providing an introduction to students in an online class

  • Producing short, timely tutorials that elaborate on, or reinforce the content from a training workshop.  In addition, quizzes can be added to assess the students’ knowledge and understanding of the content.
